REMINDER: No Electricity In Dorchester Tues. Morning From 12-5 A.M.
UPDATE, 5/10: We do not have any word if the work will go on despite forecasts for thunderstorms after midnight. The official village website is: http://dorchesterne.com/
The Village of Dorchester has issued a notice that all Dorchester residents will be without electricity this morning May 11, from midnight until 5 a.m.
According to the notice, Norris Public Power will be replacing an electric pole at the local substation.
To do this, electric power will need to be shut off during the early morning hours.
Residents are urged not to call Crete dispatch, since the City of Crete now oversees Dorchester's electricity maintenance.
In case of rain, the repair will be rescheduled for May 18.
Any questions, call Village Hall at 402‐946‐3201.
