Monday Could Bring Up To 2" Of Snow, Ice

Dorchester and the surrounding area are once again in a winter storm warning. (Did we mention that winter is still more than three weeks away?)

The good news: sunny weather and temperatures around 40 degrees should be here by Friday.

EVENING...
* TIMING...A MIXTURE OF FREEZING RAIN...SLEET AND SNOW IS LIKELY
EARLY THIS MORNING BEFORE CHANGING TO ALL SNOW. SNOW WILL
DIMINISH DURING THE AFTERNOON.
* MAIN IMPACT...1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE
WITH LIGHT ICING THIS MORNING.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SLEET AND SNOW MEANS THAT A WINTER
STORM SYSTEM IS OR WILL BE IMPACTING THE AREA WITH SIGNIFICANT
AMOUNTS OF SLEET AND SNOW. TRAVEL IS LIKELY TO BE SEVERELY
IMPACTED.
