ReplyDeleteI've been reading your BLOG almost from the start. Mount Holly Springs, PA. Bob Moser, DHS Class of 1958
ReplyDeleteBob,
ReplyDeleteAre you related to Dan Moser?
We were student journalists together at Kearney State College in the early 1980’s.
Dan always said his father was from Dorchester and his grandparents still lived here in the 1980’s.
I believe Dan grew up on military bases due to his father’s profession.
read the "Times" daily. Love it. jimnphyl@dslextreme.com class of "51"
ReplyDeleteCounty Louth, Ireland! My co-worker is from Ireland and partied in that area during her youth. Small world.

ReplyDeleteHoly cow! I think you guys are onto something.
ReplyDeleteEvery town should have something like the Times!
Believe Bob Moser graduated from DHS in 1953, I was in his class. Maybe there is another Bob Moser? If this is the 1953 Bob Moser, have you been lying about your age all this time?
ReplyDeleteI read the Times every day and enjoy it so very much.
I love the comment about Bob Moser! OK, will the real Bob Moser please stand up. Better yet, will Dan Moser please come forward. I hope you are still out there getting the big scoops!
ReplyDeleteInfo for Vested Czech-------I looked up information that was shared at our class of 1953 reunion, which was 2003. The 1953 Bob Moser has a son, Dan, who works at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, in Publishing. Now this info was shared in 2003, may have changed since that time.
ReplyDeleteHope this helps locate the Dan that you know.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your detective work. Yes, that is “my Dan” and we will soon reconnect. Again, thanks for your help and many thanks to the Dorchester Times for producing this blog and reuniting friends.
To Vested Czech. I must confess that yes I am related to Dan Moser - he being my oldest son - and yes we did move about during his (and his 3 siblings) growing up years. He attended 3 different high schools in four years.....
ReplyDeleteBob,
ReplyDeleteThanks for "fessing up." Whether you graduated in 53 or 58, you sound like a cool guy! By the way, Dan announced in one of our Poli Sci classes that you were a "big time" conservative which lead to some spirited discussions between the two of you. We'll see if Dan has mellowed in his middle years. :)
