School Renovation Plan Passes With 61% Of Vote

Dorchester area voters on Tuesday welcomed the beginning of a new era at the Dorchester Public Schools, giving the green light to a $3.98 million school expansion and renovation plan.

Nearly 470 voters from District 44 voted in Tuesday's special election. The new school plan was approved with 284 votes (60.81%), while 183 (39.19%) voted against the proposal.

  1. Way to go Dorchester!!! It's nice to see that so many people are beind the school. Hats off the the DSIP Committee. They did a great job getting the information our. Thanks also to the Times for providing unbiased information. Dorchester should be proud.

    You seem to be related to old cynical dripard - - more inbreeding. Are your eyeballs cockeyed to?? You also don't seem to realize that anonymous isn't a single entity??? good luck paying the tax burden - with all farm ground it will expensive.
