Area Students: $6,000 Award Available For Your Business Ideas

Are you a Dorchester area student in high school or college with a great mind for business and free enterprise? Then get ready to pitch your latest business idea to a panel of experts in the skyboxes of Memorial Stadium on Thursday, February 25. If your business idea has merit, you could be one of six students to win a prize of $6,000 each -- in cold, hard cash.

The "quick-pitch competition" is being sponsored by the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship and the Southeast Community College Entrepreneurship Center. The competition is open to all students at Nebraska high schools and colleges. Event details and competition applications are available at http://www.entrepreneurship.unl.edu. Applications should be sent no later than this Friday, Feb. 12.
