  1. Lets get these people in town to eliminate the go karts, four wheelers, and golf carts.

I don't know how it can be legal to haul around infant and toddlers in a golf cart with ro seat belts or restraints.

  2. "These people"??? What the heck does that mean?

In a town of 615, you are "the people." Start up a petition for a new city ordinance. Call the county sheriff. Run for town board. Don't sit on your duff and mouth off on a blog. DO SOMETHING if you feel strongly (but we all know you won't.)

I'm curious - exactly how are go karts, four wheelers and golf carts harming you or your quality of life? If you really hate living next to your fellow man/woman, here's an idea: move to the countryside.

  3. I agree with the golf cart person above.

It's ill eagle. No different than drinking and driving, or any other violations.

  4. I think the village passed an ordinance about 2 years ago that it is legal to drive 4 wheelers & golf carts within the city limits. Might want to check city office

  7. I don't mind the golf carts or 4 wheelers but when they are flying down 11th street not even letting off the gas when they come to an intersection that is where the problem is. If they are just putting around town fine but when they are going faster than a car down the street then there is a problem. I do know that the sheriff has been in contact with at least 2 of them as I seen him talk to each of them on 11th street.

  10. Same holds true where you live, too, David. Guaranteed if there are humans near you.

    1. Dear Anonymous:

Have no complaints about the humans near me. If I did, I'd move. Or, become a hermit. Humans are humans. I don't complain about it. I accept it. Try it, you'll like it.
