Calling Dorchester Leaders: Here's Your Chance To Chart The Town's Future

How equipped is Dorchester to develop an effective community plan for the future? What is our community doing to recruit or retain volunteers? A regional training workshop on these and more topics will be offered by the Nebraska Dept. of Economic Development on Feb. 26 in Nebraska City, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The workshop will be held at the Arbor Bank, 911 Central Ave. in Nebraska City.

The workshops on planning and volunteer recruitment and retention will offer concrete steps for preparing communities for future economic growth and development. The training is free, but registration is required. To access the registration form, go to http://www.neded.org/ncip or call 1-800-426-6505 for more information. Take a friend from Dorchester or a nearby community and learn about ways to help make our way of life even better, now and in the future.
