DHS Business Students Take Honors In UNK Competition

The Omaha World-Herald reports that Phi Beta Lambda, an organization for business students at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, recently hosted the 22nd Annual Business Competition Day. Business students from 20 high schools competed in 17 business contests. Six places were awarded in each category.

Dorchester students displayed their business acumen as the following Longhorns were top finisher's in the following categories:
  • Business English: Adam Kahle, third place.
  • Business law: Amanda Wenner, second place.
  • Business math: Ashton Kotas, sixth place.
  • Keyboarding I speed: Meredith Behrens, fourth place; Amanda Gosselin, sixth place.
  • Marketing: Spencer Kotas, sixth place.
Phi Beta Lambda is the collegiate division of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
