Where Do You Do Business In Dorchester?

Dorchester is lucky to have its share of great businesses.  Some have been here for decades, while others are new on the scene.  Some have storefronts on main street (Washington Ave., for those who don't know), while several others operate elsewhere within or around town.

The Dorchester Times doesn't offer advertising space, like traditional newspapers, but here is your chance to tout your favorite Dorchester-area business.

In the comments section of this post, business owners and customers are encouraged to let readers know about specials or new offerings.  Or just remind us of why and how we can do business with you.

Those of you who patronize Dorchester area businesses, tell us which are your favorites and why others should give them a try.

Many services and products are available right here in the Dorchester area.  It is important to keep our dollars close to home, to ensure that our community businesses not only survive, but grow.

The best way to do that is by spreading the word about our community's top-notch businesses.

So go ahead -- tell us where we should be spending our dollars?

  1. I have made a conscious effort to spend every dollar I can in town, and it isn't too difficult to get everything I need here with the exception of a few items. I hope others are making an effort too.

  5. I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE AND FOOD AT CITY SLICKERS / JOES PLACE. THE OWNERS CAME AROUND AND ASKED ME AND MY FAMILY IF EVERYTHING WAS OK AND IF THEY COULD DO ANYTHING TO IMPROVE THE SERVICE. HOW OFTEN DOES THAT HAPPEN ANYMORE???? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CITY SLICKERS. A+++++++++++++++++++++++
